New Strip Door Installations qualify for a $2.5/sf rebate…..(typically takes 4-6 weeks to process ) . This process is quite simple and done electronically thru the B.C. hydro website.
With a common strip door kit measuring 3′ x 7′ h ….and costing in the area of $70.00 a potential rebate of $52.20 is available for new installs ( some basic requirements need to be met ) . This would translate into a subsidy of nearly 70 % by B.C. hydro.
Other products with rebates include energy saving light fixtures, supermarket night blinds and air curtains.
